Anticipation 2010

Whilst chassé-ing around in Selfridges, fantasising about being able to do my weekly shopping there and drooling over the Givenchy Nightingale today, I stumbled across the Anticipation Exhibition 2010. The white, open space called out to me, and I entered. Inside was a collection of paintings, photographs and sculptures from "London's Best Emerging Artists". And I was pleasantly surprised by the stuff they had inside; some of the artists were really impressive, and I would urge anyone visiting London to have a look! Below are some of the artists I saw:

Noemia Goudal

Robert Dowling

Joanna Slusarczyk

The Social Network looks like a good film

Thought half term has begun, I am yet to appreciate the bliss of a true lie in. Over the last two weeks, I have: sent off my UCAS form, visited Kingston University, planned summer 2011 and put a load of stuff up on ebay.

1. Sending off your UCAS form is possibly one of life's biggest anti-climaxes. There is no congratulations or even acknowledgement of the hours you spent slaving away at the bain of my life that was my personal statement!

2. I visited Kingston University for my Art Foundation - and it exceeded my expectations and I loved it! The place and building is lovely and not the first thing that comes to mind in terms of London universities. There's even a river!

3. A while back, the prospect of interrailing became bleaker and bleaker. However, we have managed to find four of us willing to venture to Eastern Europe for 2 weeks! After some serious googling, we decided Budapest and Croatia are strong contenders of interrailing destinations 2K11. Besides that, the places Nice, Marbella, Barcelona, Malia, Zante and Faro were thrown around, which makes me wishes it was summer already!

4. My less than desirable account balance of £1.66 has lead me to the conclusion that I need more money. After calculating the possibility of winning the Euro Millions, and discovering statistics that lead me to believe it is not the most plausible of options; I returned to ebay.

I have recently found myself drooling at net a porter; convieniently it happens to be my 18th birthday in approximately 2 weeks, 1 day, 7 hours and 16 minutes. On the topic of drooling, it happens every time Aiden Grimshaw is singing on The X Factor.

I am going to order some Domino's now. Bye!
