minimal

I like nude; this means that finally my wardrobe is branching out into other colours of the spectrum, yes beyond the dark realms of grey and black and navy.

Zara's online shop means my life is now complete. H&M have also finally got an online shop (in the UK) but it is such an anticlimax after a year of anticipation.

Today, I bought a lovely typewriter in Oxfam, much to my mother's disapproval (this gives me a total of 4 typewriters in my house, half of which are merely collecting dust). This subconcious typewriter collecting is proving to be an expensive affair, and it has come to the time where I have to pick my least favorite and part with it for some cash. Anyway, this one comes in a cute little leather case and after some background research, I found out it was designed by the late Marcello Nizzoli in 1949.

I recently visited the Polly Morgan exhibition on at the moment at The Haunch of Venison Gallery. It is amazing. She finds roadkill and other dead animals and preserves them using taxidermy methods, and creates these beautiful sculptures out of them. I realise it sounds incredibly grim but they just look amazing.

Day 1

School has officially begun again, and I quiver at the thought of having to permanently set my alarm for 7am. On the weekend, I went to the Tate Britain but regretfully didn't have the chance to look at the newer exhibitions (poor decision to prioritise shopping). But I completely fell in love with the Chelsea School of Art, the building and the area is so lovely. Yes, it is possible that I have deluded myself into thinking that I will be living in the Victorian townhouses sometime soon... which most certainly won't be the case! University decision making has come all too soon, I can't decide what to do on the weekend, let alone my life.

Here is Maria with her newly bought and beloved fur headwrap:
